Liberty Science Center
After a $104 million expansion and renovation project, Liberty Science Center re-opened its doors in July 2007. The mission of the Liberty Science Center is to be "an innovative learning resource for lifelong exploration of nature, humanity and technology, strengthening communities and inspiring global stewardship."
The newly renovated high-tech science museum in Jersey City's Liberty State Park features exciting new interactive exhibits, live animals and the nation's largest IMAX dome theater - right on the Hudson River in Jersey City!
Liberty Science Center also offers a wide variety of programs for students and educators - in-house or at your location.
